Frequently asked questions about VIP membership

I enter username and password, I see message that I am logged in successfully but when I go to the next page I see I am not logged in. Why?
1. Members who report this type of problem usually connect using proxy servers. To login successfully you will need to turn of proxy connection in your connection settings.
2. You have turned off COOKIES. COOKIES are small text files stored on your computer, mostly used by many web sites that you visit to help them recognize you as returning user. They must be turned on so the server can recognize you. To do so, in Internet Explorer, go to menu Tools then click on Internet Options. On Internet Options Dialog click on "Privacy" tab and set your cookies to "Medium High" or less privacy settings.
3. Some ad-aware, popup blocking or similar software block cookies as well. If you have such software installed, please check out your setting and turn on cookies.
How to allow access to my Private Gallery to some member?
Add that member's username to your private list .

How to start instant messenger and talk to someone?
To use Instant Messenger both members must be online. When you see somebody's profile if you see the symbol , which means you can start Instant Messenger chat with that member.
Why I don't have Instant Messenger - it is not displayed next to my name?
You do, it's only not displayed when you see your profile because it would be boring to talk to yourself :-) Other people see that symbol whenever you're online. Don't worry.
How do I add my MSN on Instant Messenger?
This Instant Messenger has nothing to do with ICQ or MSN or anything similar, this is made for use on Romance Cafe only and nothing less or more than that. Usage is very simple, when somebody is online, there is a symbol (icon) for Instant Messenger and when you click on that symbol - other person see your chat invitation. If other person accepts - your chat can start.
What is that heart next to the username?
Next to each username there is a heart symbol that displays how much you match to that person based on simple criteria. If you're registered for the same reason, and looking somebody of that age, the heart next to that profile will be filled , but if you don't match by any criteria - the heart is crossed like this: . The more you match - heart symbol is filled more.
The heart next to my name is crossed. Why?
Only because it's strange to show you how much you match to yourself :-) Everybody else see the heart next to your username filled differently, depending on how much you match with the person who is looking at your profile. For some it will be completely full, for some - half empty, and for some crossed.
Why I don't see anybody on Chat and no messages are displayed?
Please check out, maybe you're the only person there at that moment. Ask somebody else to join you and then chat.
I don't want notifications on my mail!
Turn off that option in your profile. Go to "Change Profile" then on "My Details" and turn off options:
I want to receive monthly news
E-mail notification when new message arrives
E-mail notification when new member match to my Perfect match
How to correct error in my profile - it says I'm looking for man and I am actually looking for women!
Simply change it in your profile. Go to "Change Profile" and change anything you want.
Where my old messaged are gone?
Old messages are archive - not deleted, but you can't see them in your inbox. Messages older than 90 days are moved to archive, if you need some specific message - please contact us.
How do I change my username, password or email?
To change your username - please contact us and tell us your current username and password, and new username of your choice. Please make sure that username is not taken. Please note, if you change your username all your images will be deleted and you will have to upload it again with the new username.
You can change password yourself, just go to "Change Profile" and then "Change Password".
To change email please send us an e-mail from your new email address. In that email please write your username, password, old and new e-mail address. Send email to support@romance-cafe.com
I want to delete my profile. How do I do that?
To prevent fraud we do not allow members to delete profile by them self. Please contact us and send us your username and password and we will delete it for you. More details... .
